Powder coat for protection

Narromine Powder Coaters and Abrasive Blasting was established in 2005. We have an abrasive blast chamber which measures 15 metres long, 6 metres wide and 4.5 metres high and our powder oven measures 2.9 metres wide and 2.5 metres high. This enables us to abrasive blast and powder coat a large variety of items including domestic, commercial and agricultural. We are able to extend our oven to accommodate up to 12-metre lengths, allowing us to powder coat large agricultural implements and castings, which we currently supply for a local producer of 80ft air seeders and components. We specialise in corrosion protection of bore hole pump columns and components using a specially-developed process, fusion bond expoxy, which can give extended life and increased flow rates. To attain the highest level of quality control with our processes we send samples of our powder coating work to our powder manufacturer labs to undergo a thorough testing procedure. This test takes three months to complete as the samples are subject to 1000 hours of acetic acid salt spray. This is to determine any imperfections to the powder coated areas looking for adhesions, blistering or corrosion to base metal. It is also important to note that these tests are not an industry requirement, the testing is undertaken to keep our standards and quality at the highest possible level.
